I was talking about tackling the tile job in the kitchen myself. We went to the same place that did our laminate to purchase some tile. Asked them what it would cost for them to install. We were pleasantly surprised at the price. We figured it was better to pay someone who knew what they were doing rather than have me try it, mess it up, then pay them anyway...not to mention having to buy the tile over again too! We (we meaning Jen) decided on a 20 inch porcelain that was a tan/rust/gray mix. It goes great with the wood laminate, as well as the cabinets and other colors we have going on in the kitchen! Amazing the difference it makes!
