Skeeters' Baseball

A new minor league baseball team, the Sugarland Skeeters, began playing this year. They built a new stadium that is about 8 miles from our house! We made it to our first game this evening and had a great time.



The stadium is beautiful! It has an old-time feel to it for me. We purchased tickets to sit in the lawn area out in right field. You bring in lawn chairs, or we brought blankets, and you sit in a hill to watch the game. It is very relaxing and family oriented.









Beyond the centerfield wall is a kid zone. They have a splash pad and big playground area. Conveniently next to it is an open bar area where you can sit and watch your kids play...pure genius! We had a wonderful time "playing" in all the spots!
