Brazos Bend, Alligators, and Friends

We took advantage of some great weather and headed out to Brazos Bend State Park for some hiking. The Bristol kids came along today to make the day even more memorable. We started the day at the nature center where the kids were able to pet a baby alligator and a king snake.

Brayden and Ty both came dressed in their new Backyard Safari gear. We were prepared for everything!

We spent quite a bit of time searching for alligators. We found about 10 during our adventure. A couple were huge...at least 8-10 feet long! Alayna, Shealyn, and Elise stopped on this bridge to try and locate some more gators.

There are great trails to explore as well. I wonder what they will discover next?

After an afternoon of hiking, this bench was a welcome site!
