Happy Holidays 2013

Once again the year flew by,

Where did 2013 go?

Let's take a look back quickly,

To see what there is you need to know.

An artist was awarded,

For her drawing skills.

She also lived to dance,

Her life is filled with thrills.

Sports were in season,

In the Spring and in the Fall.

We were a family in motion,

Chasing both soccer and baseballs.

Alayna is into soccer,

Dribbling, passing, scoring goals.

Defense is her favorite,

It's fun watching her game unfold.

Brayden's sport of choice is baseball,

He keeps improving every game.

Playing almost all positions,

Defensive star's his middle name.

Our SD adventures,

Were many once again.

From fossil beds and weddings,

To biking with family and friends.

We traveled into Nebraska,

To the Ashfall Fossil Beds site.

With Grandma Hopi along for the ride,

The trip was out of sight.

A Peterson family weekend,

In Aberdeen we stayed.

With all nieces and nephews,

The days were filled with play.

Adam and Meagan were married,

Jon and Amanda too.

Time with family is treasured,

It's quite the rowdy crew.

We made it out for camping,

From Garner to McKinney Falls.

With hiking, campfires, and games,

Fun was had by all.

Our National Park Tour,

Was by far our biggest adventure.

The memories that were created,

Will be cherished now and forever.

Here's hoping that the year to come,

Will be as adventurous as the last.

Lord knows one thing's for sure,

It will go by just as fast.
