Garner State Park

We took a long weekend to Garner State Park for our annual May get away. We were a bit bummed when we got there because we could not get into the same site area we were in last year. It was closed for a private event. Well...it may have turned out better!













About 50 yards down a hill from our site this year was access to the Frio River. It was a great way to cool off each day after hiking.













We had beautiful days for hiking with even more beautiful views. It was constant climbing and descending...made for a challenge...but we were up for the task. We even found a geocache or two along the way. All in all, it was an amazing weekend!
