Happy Holidays! A Year in Review...

The holiday season is upon us again,
I do not know where time goes.
It does not seem like a year has gone by,
But by how the kids have grown it shows.

Alayna's in 5th grade and tall as can be,
Turning into a young lady to soon.
She loves spending time drawing and dancing,
Or singing a favorite tune.

Bradyen's in 3rd grade and reading like crazy,
His nose is always in a book.
Baseball is a passion that he loves to share,
And he'll drop some smooth dance moves if you look.

Jen and I are just getting older and wiser,
The norm for a mom and a dad.
She's certainly wiser and only I'm getting older,
(I must say that or she will get mad!)

We camp when we can, as often as we are able,
A new pop-up we bought in the Spring.
Each month we are pulling it this way or that,
We hope to see everything.

From our family to yours, we wish you the best,
Good tidings, peace, love, and good cheer.
May God bless your family and all of your friends,
Keep you safe each and every year.

Summer Camping Tour 2014

This summer we headed a little east and spent time checking out the Ozarks in Missouri.  We started in Branson and then worked our way through the Ozark National Scenic Riverway.  It is gorgeous.  We hit Dinosaur Valley National Park on the way back home near Fort Worth.  The video above shows some of our adventures. To see and read more, check out the posts on this blog for July of this year.

The Kids

Here is a video with pictures of the kids in their activities, having fun with the family, or just hanging out!

More Camping

This last video is a collection of pictures from other camping trips we took this year.  Since we bought the new camper we have tried our best to make it out at least once a month.  We have so far been successful. Add that to the 20+ days we spent in it on our summer trip and we are making sure it was money well spent!
