Had a follow up appointment for Alayna with the eye doctor yesterday. Everything looks great. The doctor said it was completely healed already. He was surprised it healed so quickly and so well. Stitches still there and will not dissolve completely for another week or two.
Next he checked response of muscles and seemed again surprised at how well she responded. He said it was "dead on". Both eyes were responding perfectly. She is still experiencing a bit of double vision when viewing things farther away p, but it sounds like that is quite natural. The mind needs time to adjust to the change as well.
We have another appointment in a month, but the doctor said it is pretty much a formality. What he was hoping to see in a month he saw already this visit.
