We took our annual October camping trip with the Cantu's to Jellystone Park this weekend. We had a mix of weather while we were there. It was beautiful on Saturday...high 80s to low 90s...which was perfect for the Waterpark! They have a splash pad and big pool plus a couple HUGE water slides that the kids enjoyed all day.
The evening brought about trick-or-treating through the campsite.
We had Captain America...Defender of Evil...
...and a beautiful Genie!
Once they collected their stash the kids went to the outdoor theater to watch a Disney movie. They came back after the movie and we made S'mores. The wind was shifting and you could feel the temp starting to drop due to a front coming in so we headed to bed.
We woke up to 50 degrees Sunday morning. The fire, coffee, and hot chocolate were welcomed by all!
The kids spent the morning playing in the BIG new playground and exploring the rest of the campground on their bikes while we packed up.
All in all we could not have asked for a better weekend. Great weather, great friends, and great fun!
