Brayden's baseball season came to a close this last week. Seeing the strides he made this season were unbelievable to me.
The first couple practices he struggled. He was the youngest and smallest on the team. He also had the least experience. He told me more than once that he wished he didn't have to play. You could tell he was frustrated.
He stuck with it and soon things started to turn it around. We practiced some more on the side and as he understood the positions on the field his confidence began to grow...as did his skills. He started making plays in the field and his at-bats were better too. By the end of the year he could not wait to go to practice, not to mention the games. He was having a ball!
It won't be any trouble getting him out to practice this off season. He is already talking about playing in the spring.
