Spring Break Visitors: Thursday

Thursday was Galveston Day! We left around 9:00 and headed to the beach.

Brayden and Grandpa immediately started in on a castle with a mote. There was very fine craftsmanship!

Alayna and the Grandmas set out to find seashells. The water was quite chilly. We didn't go in much over our ankles.

It was a beautiful, sunny day but the breeze kept it quite cool. Brayden found time to snuggle with Jen to keep warm. Alayna spent quite a bit of time flying her kite.

Before we left the beach Brayden had one more sand project. He built a wall...we are calling the Great Wall of Bubba...to protect his city. Unfortunately we left before the city could be built.

After the beach we went shopping at the Strand in downtown Galveston and then went back to the Seawall for dinner at our favorite Galveston restaurant...Fish Tales!

It was another memorable day. The only problem we may run into is a lack of aloe for everyone's sunburn. My feet look like lobsters!
