Cleburne and Dinosaur Valley SP

Our last stop this year was Cleburne State Park and Dinosaur Valley State Park just west of Fort Worth, TX.

We stayed at Cleburne and spent the first evening checking out some if the trails there. They are primitive trails, which is what we like best! We found some beautiful spots.

The next day we went to Dinosaur Valley State Park, about 30 minutes away. You can see footprints in the riverbed from dinosaurs who roamed there millions of years ago! It was something to see.

There are also many trails at Dinosaur Valley, but it was too hot to do much. We are hoping to return to do more trails at both parks in the fall.
