Ozark National Scenic River-way- Alley Mills

We camped at the Alley Mills Campground along the Jack Forks River. The area is beautiful. We spent the first day driving around the area and hiking a few trails.

The first area we explored was the Alley Mill. It was a mill in the late 1800s that ground corn and grain into flour. It was powered by a natural spring. The water is a beautiful blue color coming from the spring and maintains a temperature of between 55 and 58 degrees all year long.
