



There is another state park about 8 miles from Ink's Lake called Longhorn Cavern. There is a lot of history there. It was used by the Native Americans to hold hostages. It was once a dance hall and restaurant during the prohibition years. Amazing inside. It was formed by fast flowing underground river...one of only 2 or 3 in the US. We went in about 3/4 of a mile. They said it is 8 miles long...the last 5 are under water still. If you are ever in that area it is definitely worth the visit.



Above ground they have some historic buildings on site as well. Here are our kids and the Cantu's checking out some of them.
