We are back at soccer for another season. I was guilted into coaching again this season. Brayden gets to have a chance with me on his team. I really wasn't sure I wanted to do it. I hate having to coach one while the other is playing and there are a lot of weeks this year where their games overlap. I have to say that I had a good time coaching the kids this first week though. Above you can see Bubba sporting the headband and sweatbands he got from Aunt Jackie. He is convinced they make him faster! He didn't score this week but had a couple of good shots on goal and really played hard. His team won!...must be the coaching...
Here you can see Alayna in action wearing a shirt that is 10 sizes too big for her! She also played very hard this week. She scored a goal, came close on a couple other shots, and set up 2 other goals for her teammates with a some great passes. Her team came out on top as well. Jen and I were both very proud of both of the kids for how hard they played this week. We hope it continues throughout the year.
