2 weeks of school have come and gone. The kids are both loving it! You can tell they are putting all effort into it too...they both look exhausted when they get home.
Jen has a full class plus a couple but says everyone seems to be settling in nicely. We moved her desks around again this evening to see if we can't find more room. With 30 desks, however, you don't have a bunch of choices.
I had my first "official" campus visit today and man did they wear me out! I got to play with iPods, iTouches, iPads, activotes, the Promethean board, Flip cameras, and a Wii today. I went from a Kindergarten classroom to a 5th grade room and stopped in at all numbers in between. Did you have that much fun at work? Now ask your kids if they had that much fun at school? Watching these teachers takeoff with the technology really motivates me to keep pushing forward in the creativity department. I have been busy the last couple weeks traveling to campuses to fix things. It was great to get back to the training, modeling, and team teaching aspect if my job. It is what I love most about it!
