Our kids are both amazing children...yet both very different. Alayna is a pleaser. She is smart as a whip, but is very literal. Brayden is smart too...and a smart*** (hmmmm, wonder where he gets that from???). He picks up on everything...and will repeat it too if you are not careful!
A while back we were sitting at the dinner table. Alayna asked a question and I responded in my normal way. Alayna looked at me very puzzled, so I told her I was being sarcastic. She asked what sarcastic meant so we went off on a conversation about what being sarcastic means. We finish the conversation and Brayden chimes in, "Yeah...I just did one of those yesterday."
Being a glutton for punishment I ask, "Did one of what?"
Brayden responds, "A sarcastic. I do sarcastics all the time!" He follows this up with a wink and a gun. You know what...he is right. He does his "sarcastics" all the time...
