Each year there is a competition at our elementary schools for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Awards. Alayna was chosen as a winner for her grade level again this year! She, and we, were very excited. She loves to draw and takes great pride in what she does. Here is a picture of her winning entry. Here is the picture that won last year's competition. She is enjoying those blue ribbons. This one is already hanging in her bedroom framed with the ribbon. She also has a wonderful picture of a horse that Kenton drew her framed on her wall. Now we will need to frame this new one as well. We are going to run out of space!
Here is another picture that she drew for her 1st grade program at school. We are amazed at what she can do. She certainly didn't get that from me! She is into all types of art projects. The only problem is trying to find enough storage for all of it in her room...
